I imagine New Years may get kind of chilly... Oh, I'm all set...I even have the scarves, shoes, gloves and tickets that I got you for Christmas... Fair enough...just don't have TOO much fun in NYC...Jim and I need you guys back for January 1st in a big way... Don't worry your head, amyjo...what can possibly go wrong? Ummm, Marbles....I really don't want to think about that...given you guys' track record Don't be silly...This is going to be a ROCKING New Year!! Just wait and see...be ready in a minute or two! | Hiya amyjo! Hello Marbles... Eleven pipers piping...sounds dreadfully smoky, doesn't it? Marbles, that is pipers piping, as in playing a musical instrument. Ohhh, ok, but that would be rather shrill, wouldn't it? I mean, you would need a pair of headphones to block out the noise, I would think. Some pipe music is ok, I suppose... Would you like bagpipes, amyjo? I know of a band of bagpipe players that would come serenade you... Uh, no...that's ok Marbles... Come to think of it, I'm sure that Collin would be happy to do that for me...He is such a nice guy and all... Uh, Marbles....Just who is Collin? Carol and I met him at the LA airport....and of course he bought us drinks...a real gentleman  And how do you know he plays bagpipes? He told us...guess that's an icebreaker for sure....Now if I could just find his number... No, that's ok Marbles...I'm not all that into bagpipes...really.... Oh, ok....maybe then I just get you a disc of bagpipes playing and some nice headphones... Uh, ok...??? Well, you don't want ME to listen to that racket? |

It is a Father Tom Christmas Mystery Novel called Ten Lords A Leaping! The author is C.C. Benison. I think you may find yourself embroiled in a plot twisting adventure! Yay! I found it when I was nosing around your Amazon.com account...It was quite something! Besides, I know that you didn't want 10 lords coming to your house  !Anyway, I'm off to peruse this Amazon.com thingy...it looks like a lot of fun...Still have 11 and 12 to figure out for you Love, Marbles Your Literary Enlightened Muse Seriously, Marbles? | Dear amyjo Hmmm...9 Ladies Dancing... I already sent you tickets to the ballet. I know! I'll buy tickets to see the Rockettes! There will be more than 9 ladies dancing of course, but it fits the theme! I love it! Of course, I'll need to use them for New Years, when Carol and I go out to NYC! I hope you don't mind, amyjo  You are such a homebody! So I figured this out for you instead: On the 8th day of Christmas, I'd send you 8 maids... Since you are in need of some serious dusting/cleaning at your house. They don't speak much English, but just be sure to tip them very well! It's Christmas, after all After that, then we can see about redecorating...I've been meaning to tell you that your furniture is all outdated. So, consider this my present to you! | I just received another package in the mail from Marbles... Dear amyjo, I'm not going to send you seven swans, Just think of all of the poo to clean up!  So instead I will send you season tickets to the ballet, including the opportunity to see Swan Lake. I hope that fits the theme of my twelve days for you! PS...If you cannot use them, I'll be happy to take Carol with me when we head out for New Years to see the ballet Love, Marbles Your very Cultured Muse Dear Marbles, A very thoughtful gift, indeed. | And here we go...another note from Marbles...when she gets on a roll...there is no stopping her. Day #6 On the sixth day of Christmas My Muse gave to me... Six gorgeous silky scarves. One in plum - a color most deep One in apricot - a color to keep One in rose - as rich as wine One in jade - a color most fine One in onyx - a color so dark One in turquoise - quite a lovely spark So these scarves Marbles did send. And I know it's not the end! Marbles is shopping - for her it is play I just hope the bill I can pay! |

So five rings it is, to wear so proud, At any party, you'll be above the crowd. | I just found out that Marbles is wealthy in her own right? So why mess with my credit card? Just got my statement and nearly fainted until I saw that the total was paid for... I also found out she's been up to mischief again...Here is number four on her Twelve Days of Christmas Theme: Four shoe boxes and this little ditty: Dear amyjo, Four calling birds could be so noisy, I decided on something new. Since my human isn't that bossy, I thought I'd pick out a present or two. The Fourth Day of Christmas what a lovely time If I didn't go extravagant, It would be a crime. Four pair of shoes that would be divine. Jimmy Choo, Guicci, I think those are fine. Louboutin, Atwood, that makes four: Now all I need Is out of this store.
