Talk Tuesday: Spirit Animals and Non-Animals
Monday, January 24, 2017

Soaring on hot air currents
an eagle watches the ground
searching for her scampering muse.

The Talk Tuesday prompt for "30-Day Blogging Challenge ON HIATUSOpen in new Window.
If you had a "spirit animal" that wasn't an animal, what would yours be? (Pretty sure mine's a burrito in case anyone asks, but no one is and I could be totally wrong *Laugh*). And what would you think some of your fellow bloggers' "spirit animals (that aren't animals)" are?

I suspect (although hope might be a better word) that my spirit animal is either an eagle or a wolf. I've never considered a spirit non-animal before, but if I were to have one then it would be either a butterfly or chocolate. Maybe my non-spirit animal is a chocolate butterfly. As to what other people's non-spirit animals are, I can only hazard a guess.

Considering the creativity that is revealed through the blog entries I suspect their non-animal spirit animal would be some type of spider or spider's web. I say this because spider's are symbols of creativity in several different cultures across the world.1 While in various cultures butterflies are symbols of the soul and of resurrection.2 So I guess I have to change my non-animal spirit animal to a chocolate butterfly spider.
