| Promises Autumn and the leaves drop like promises from the lips of politicians in November and what hope is there for us, when the lies of last year are raked in forgiveness to the bonfires of today? Winter and the comfort of those words is sapped by the bitter wind of reality, snow’s white arrival covering the deeds of darkness, where good intentions perish and our weakness leaves us only longing for the Spring of another chance.
