A little something I wrote for "EXPRESS IT IN EIGHT "  today, 1/31/2022 guided by the day's prompts: neither rhyme nor reason & in my heart of hearts - Just thought it would go well here too...

Muse to Blame?

Trouble came along.
I probably shoulda guessed.
It was neither rhyme nor reason
that got me in this mess!
My head is somehow empty,
my mind's broken and confused.
But I couldn't find it in my heart of hearts
to Blame it on My Muse.
