It's Your Move!

It’s Your Move!

My specialty was Scrabble,
a game of words or babble,
and yet I had such trouble,
was exiled in a bubble;
family refused to play,
every day I hear them say,
“You always take so long to move.
You know it, we don’t have to prove.”
No argument I can muster
‘gainst their forbidding bluster;
it’s true I ponder far too long,
rejecting words that are not strong,
seeking ones that use all tiles,
and run for miles and miles and miles!
