| Transition To everyone there comes a point where mere survival’s not enough, when cost is greater than the prize and journey meets its terminus, the strength in grasping hand weakens, aches to contemplate its rest, is tempted by the proffered ease beyond horizon, no longer far, sees that lightened sky ahead, while certainly the dying evening, is also shot with rays of hope exceeding all that fed this yearning, and gripping fingers release their charge, extending welcome to one’s death.
