contains some of my present and past poetry. |
| Treasures In the coolness of the night, my fevered brow felt the comforting hand of nature. In the heat of a bright summer day, a fresh spring of water in the garden bower and a soothing southerly wind slaked my thirst. Welcome rain on an August afternoon pattering down the window-sill, drenched my mind in ceaseless memories. Winter nights spent in a shared bed, brought on an ultimate relaxation to my whole being, kindling gratitude. Simple pleasures in simple things of beauty, love and Mother Nature, blessings, I am not in a hurry to count. Lines: 15 Written for Stormy's newsletter& contest, June 2021 |
