Writing syle
Prompt: “Amateurs sit and wait for inspiration. The rest of us just get up and go to the page and write." — Stephen King

Do you sit in front of your computer waiting for inspiration? Or do you carry a notebook and go do things, jutting down notes throughout your day and then write. Share how your writing begins... we're curious.

I usually need a prompt to give me impetus and then I let the ideas stew in my brain for up to a week. I wait until an idea gives that tingle of excitement before I sit down to write. I don’t use a notebook and I just begin to write. I have no plan, rarely know the ending. I just wing it, then I read through and change whole paragraphs often deleting sentences I thought I liked. Often the story ends up to be nothing like I thought it would be at the start.
