I always loved that song, as did millions of others all over the world. Can you even imagine writing a song which outlives the writer and inspires people to be better?

Why is it that people like John are often taken from us too soon. It’s as if they’re a star which burns too brightly and explodes, extinguishing before it’s even begun to lighten the world .

I can’t even imagine a world which lives in peace no matter how hard I try. I see family members disagreeing, and communities up in arms about rights and the ‘not in my backyard’ mentality when anything new is on the cards. If we can’t agree locally what hope does the whole world have?
