Memories
Prompt:
“God gave us memory so that we might have roses in December.”
James M. Barrie
Happy December! What does "roses in December" bring to your mind?

The way I interpret this quote is that exactly like roses in December we remember our youth in old age.

Memories are there for a purpose, much as we might write a journal, we can refer back to a certain date, time or occasion.

When things aren’t going so well in the present we still remember better days. When our short term memories fade, remember those roses—the days of our youth or our children laughing, and happy.
