Thailand Travel Advice ... my response
WOULD YOU CHOOSE BANGKOK, CHIANG MAI, ISLANDS

Jane Rojsuranash: Please consider my Airbnb Homestay in Chiang Mai. We will take good care of you. We can also help you plan your itinerary.

I responded that a home stay is a great idea. I responded that a home stay is a great idea.

Phil Salter: Kanchanaburi Thong Pha Phum our house 🏠

To Phil Salter: Are you inviting us? I say this with respect. My best vacation in my life was 3 weeks in England staying with friends. I saw England through THEIR eyes... and they saw it through mine. We all learned something new. So why not? Invite someone here you know (or don't know ... I only knew my friends from an online writing group) and have fun showing them a Thailand they'll never see on a beach!

Phil Salter: Kåre Enga when our house is finished off we will have a upper Terrence view for visitors to come and stay so yes I agree with you 🤗

To Lars Petter Vågøy: Absolutely! Isaan is great. Choose a place and get to know the people and culture. Men i Noreg: Tromsø... i januar/februar (Soldag den 19 januar, Nordlysfestivalen, Sami Vuokka og den 6 februar Sami Nasjonaldag)... eller Solvorn i mai. The important part isn't where; it's the people you meet and the experiences you remember. 7 days in Isaan (I love Roi Et) isn't enough but it could be the beginning of a love affair.

To Vitali at...: If you are a bucket check-list tourist do all three. There are many 5 star tours that will arrange 5 star hotels, 5 star transportation, 5 star food (including your full English breakfast). Let honest entrepreneurs do the work! You'll have checked off Thailand! On to the next adventure... Otherwise... do one, relax and be thankful. Even Bangkok can be relaxing (I stay at my favorite hostel, visit with staff who know me well, meet people from around the world, wander around, eat street food, say hello to cats, last time roamed around Lumpini Park). My bucket is full of the sights, smells, sounds, tastes and textures of Thailand.

Thailand Travel Advice.

Me: As a traveler... pick a place (consider weather, holidays, events) and spend 7 days getting to know people and culture. ANY place is great. Thailand will welcome you back... and you will come back.
