Catch up from 2025:
Current cancer prognosis is I am done with chemotherapy and radiation. For some reason, surgery is not in the discussion right now. What is scheduled is a CATscan at the end of January then a follow-up appointment with one of the oncologists on February 3.
The cancer and its treatments pretty much dominated my past year and a half at least.

On to 2026!

I have several undertakings already that will focus on me and my aspirations for the year.

As the header of this blog/anthology announces, I plan to try to write 52 short stories this year as part of "The Bradbury". I admit that I am now less confident than I was when first joined, but I will not let it deter me. Even if I write all 52 pieces of crap, it will be more of a commitment to my writing than I have made in the previous two years.

I somehow landed myself as an assistant for "Depression, Anxiety, and More Forum..."  Open in new Window. by Sunny Author Icon . Okay so I volunteered to help. Gives me an excuse to refresh and add to my layman's education in Psychology. I needed to refocus on my mental health as it was starting to fall by the wayside when I was more concerned with physical maladies. I look forward to helping out and being here for other members as we learn together.

Finally, I am semi-renovating my bedroom. The physical labor of this is what has kept me from doing any of my other things until now. I had to force myself to stop and do my journal entry today (and stay away from the game I have become addicted to on my tablet!) I still am going to have double down tomorrow to start working on my "The Bradbury" story for this week.

Merry Meet and Blessed Be
then Merry Meet again!
