Fear

Rejection grips you.
The unknown swamps you.
Taking risks paralyzes you.
That ‘out of control’ feeling
Swirls around you like a fog
Dulling out the Light.
Fear lies to us
Tells us things are really hard
Tells us things are too scary
It is insidious
It seduces us to the dark side
Holds us captive

But it is not so very hard
It is not so very scary.

Surrender to God
Listen to His voice
Let peace fill you up
Take action
In small steps
Move forward bit by precious bit
Joy will find you
In the accomplishment.
