Shadows lengthen into twilight
Darkness fills the cracks
And binds the secrets
Back into the depths
That no one cares to tread.

Silence hovers along the streets
Any noise is magnified
No one lurks along the back alleys
Desertion is prevalent
It haunts the shadows of twilight.
