Prompt: Doorknobs. Write about these.

Aunt Clara on Bewitched collected doorknobs. On "Green Acres" Oliver was always breaking the doorknob on his house. "The Addams Family", the doorknob was always getting broke by visitors and I would laugh when Lurch said: "You broke it." He would be holding the doorknob.

I miss old fashioned doorknobs. The ones in my house are gold plated. We still have brass ones. A friend of mine told me he had a hemmorhoid and when the doctor examined him, he felt like they used a doorknob to check him. I have heard people say he or she is as dumb as a doorknob. A door without a doorknob is a door with a hole and you can look through it!

I have seen crystal doorknobs and pearl alabaster type. Now, some doors have a crank. Remember skeleton keys? Great Grandma's doorknobs had those. Doorknobs. Open the door and maybe you will have an adventure. Who knows what is on the other side?
