Eyes of Animal Crackers

Light bubbles ascend
separate paths,
and ignite the eyes
of animal crackers.

Bubbles of orange rise
and white eyes
close to open orange.

Pink bubbles rise
and orange eyes
close to open pink.

Bubbles of white rise
and pink eyes
close to open white.

The eyes of rhinos,
lions,
and tigers blink...
wink for early rising diners.
