Garden of the Gods

Garden of the Gods:
Proof of the Existence of God

The road winds though cliffs
adorned by green trees
and shrubs.

At places,
the rocks rise
about the surrounding vegetation,
like icebergs rising
from the Arctic Ocean.

The cliffs
are red sandstone
and white granite.

My soul
is awestruck,
I cannot doubt
the existence of God
nor the progression
of His Manifestations.

I wrote this in 153 B.E. Mom and I visited my brother and his wife, who were living in the Colorado Springs area. We drove through the Garden of the Gods.
