the wind plays
among smoke caravans
ascending

out of the fire pit
out of the white coals
ascending

the wind carries
aromas of sizzling leash
to waiting nostrils

aromatic caravans
ascending
to waiting nostrils

red flesh sizzles
upon the red hot grills
as the wind dances

among
aromatic smoke caravans
the wind dances
