Freedom

Bonds are chains
Soft yet strong.
You give in
Involuntarily
To be yourself.

Nothing wrong
In letting space
And time to
The loved ones.
Yet, you should
Know when to
Walk away
With a smile.

For, real freedom
Is in ordering the mind,
In control, in our ability
To bid farewell
Without a trace
Of tears.
