Today the sun was shining. The air warm. And the pool inviting. I use the pool to do my exercise with water weights and just basic stretching and swimming. It's so much easier on the joints.

Sorry that USA figure skating couple lost the Gold Medal.

I love reading at the end of a day. I'm not good at falling asleep, so reading helps.

I love the skating!

I saw some of the skiing. I keep getting distracted with other stuff on youtube. But Ice skating is lovely to watch!

Opening Olympics

Tonight was the Opening Olympics. The Winter Olympics are in Italy. They had people dressed like they had been painted or colored. They had dancers dressed in white that looked like Greek Goddesses and Gods. I loved when Andrea Borcelli sang. He is a favorite with me. Mariah Carey sang. All the countries athletes came out. The lighting of the torch. The mountain scenery and snow. It is beautiful.

Shaun White was there. I loved his skateboarding. I will miss his skateboarding this year.

I look forward to the ice skating. This is my favorite. I will be enjoying the Olympics the next 2 weeks.
