Absolutely! I say ‘Yes, it must be done now’ otherwise I’m asking the same thing every few weeks. Then he gets stroppy and refuses to do anything. Sigh … can’t always win. hahaha. Thanks so much.

I found this under anniversary reviews for your account anniversary today. I typically don't read journals because I don't like mine read. They should be personal. However you had no other items in your port. Why not use your journal items as the plot for a fictional character? Happy anniversary!

"You know", she began, " women of OUR age crave security..." I was hoping she wasn't proposing because I was out of there. Three husbands, two kids, two puppies, and that incident in '99 with the 'fluffy duck' is as complicated as I want my life to get.

LOL! This is why I keep sneaking back to read your blog, Red. You are absolutely unique in how you phrase your experiences.

I hear a woman say that emphasized our before age, and the eyes just fly open. Generally because it's women who are at least ten years my senior doing the emphasizing.

It's okay to feel old. It's not fun to look old.

Don't you just love the way sales people run like scalded dogs when they find out there's no chance for a sale? My wife and I vacationed in Maui and stayed in a time share. They were giving away tours of the rain forest if you took the half hour sales pitch. We decided to go for it. About half way through the sales pitch I exclaimed, "We can't afford this. You're wanting more than I make in a year." Well, not only did he stop but he became really mad that we weren't serious about buying. Now, we were in a large room with probably nine or ten other sales people giving the same sales pitch. I didn't see anyone buying that day and the other sales people weren't pouting. It did get us out of the sales pitch and we took advantage of the free tour.

Admittedly, new husband needs all the support he can get but don't make me roll up another newspaper...hahaha.
