An attempt at Haiku's each day beginning 2013 |
This is a well-intentioned beginning to what I hope will be a haiku a day, or thereabouts. |
Paint by numbers hills mirror lake shines and blinds morning's bleary sight |
Will a mushroom cloud rise above the horizon signaling the end? |
Wind blown fires raging gobbling homes in it's way sleep won't come fast. |
North winds blowing hard newer leaves hang on tightly spring is rough on them |
Disney egg-yolk smiles lighting up my walking path faces turned to greet |
Layer cake of clouds winds will inject some movement it will be messy. |
Cotton ball wisps float high over yellow mustards azure in-between. |
Avocado green leaves poking into white fog deflating the day |
like clothespins birds sit chirping and plotting their day nest building begins |
spring into summer cellophane colors now gone green will soon be brown. |
A spring bathing rite soft winds dusted just behind no April fools here. |
The April showers came a day early for us nice change, bad timing. |
One more day of March as time passes so quickly so do jellybeans. |
The forecast is rain no clouds visible up there Easter bunny rules |
Twinkling stars shine in the blackest sky above who's winking at whom? |
Ten-and-a-half worms a lake full of fish swimming fish pouches empty |
Placid blue water a red and white float bobbing will the worm survive? |
Pink moments are here long shadows across mountains lighting up the earth |
yellow Orioles building homes high in palm trees spring's indicator. |
No beauty tax due buds bursting with abundance Mother Nature wins |
