This is some excellent advice! Of course you are going to teach your students lots of other valuable things as well, but this might be one of the most important things they’ll ever learn. Algebra, yeah, there are always resits. But stuff like this is more important.
Thank you for stopping by my blog AND leaving a comment. There are so many issues with the education system in our country. Lack of funding and some poor policy decisions have really made it rough on committed educators. Increasing pay would help but we, as a country, have to commit to more than the money. Things are so very different now in society and the challenges those societal changes present are also key. I could go on but I will spare you and you probably know what I am talking about.
Yes, we're all lucky to have a good education. It truly does matter and it is the foundation, especially for a profession like the one I'm pursuing. You guys don't here it enough, so I'll say it again, thank you for being a teacher - you're educating a whole new generation and you should be very proud of yourself, professor
