I love this image. Prompt Wednesday, December 16, 2020

Proverbs 6:1-5 Avoid Surety.

1. My son, if thou be surety for thy friend, if thou hast stricken thy hand with a stranger,

2. Thou art snared with the words of thy mouth, thou art taken with the words of thy mouth.

3. Do this now, my son, and come into the hand of thy friend; go, humble thyself, and make sure thy friend.

4. Give not sleep to thine eyes, nor slumber to thine eyelids.

5. Deliver thyself as a roe from the hand of the hunter, and as a bird from the hand of the fowler.

In this passage, Solomon is telling us that we should never be co-signer on another's loans. If you co-sign and the signer defaults on the loan, it becomes your responsibility. I don't know about anybody else but I can't afford to be responsible for somebody else's loans.

Write about prayer in your Blog entry today.

Prayer is something I don't do enough of. Prayer is man aligning his will with God's will. It is not a time to make requests of God because God already knows what we need. It is time to submit ourselves to doing God's will. I try to pray every night and usually fall asleep doing so.

I say Merry Christmas. It was Jesus's birthday. It was not Mohammad's birthday and Jesus came so the church could replace Judaism. So I don't celebrate either one of the latter.

Don't even get me started. I done made enough people angry with my BCoF post for today.
