Yesterday, I got some unsettling news. I found out that a long time staff member at work was going into semi-retirement and it was going to be her last day. I also found out that we lost a job contract. The company who provided this job decided to go to another company because it offered more money. I really enjoyed working on this job, now it is gone. I woke up ill today. My boyfriend called me early because he's going to see "King Kong" tonight. There was another terrorist attack, this time in London, England. Four individuals are confirmed dead, 20 injured. |
| Didn't go to work today. Woke up with a sore throat. In the past, it would've bothered me, but now that the work program is ending in less than four weeks, I not too worried about missing work. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my 11 years at Stride. I just don't feel as anxious of missing work now that it's coming to an end. |
