Just for the record, as someone who lives in Los Angeles (and relatively close to some of the "hot spot" areas), the protests both prior to and during the "No Kings" events were neither riots nor insurrections.

There were definitely some incidents of specific individuals taking things too far (like the widespread images being circulated of a couple driverless cars being set on fire), but the protest activity was — and continues to be — entirely within the ability of the LAPD and LASD to manage without the need for additional reinforcements from the federal government. The leadership of both of those law enforcement organizations (which are two of the largest and best-funded in the country) has said as much, and I've had friends at those protests who have all reported that the activity was mostly nonviolent aside from those few isolated incidents.

It's definitely a serious situation to be sure, but I thought it was worth commenting on because Los Angeles is not experiencing nearly the level of chaos and disorder as certain media outlets and political operatives would like you to believe. Take it from someone who lives here and is able to go about their business as usual!

Yes, do you blog now? I scrolled down and I didn't see any comments or likes. That would be discouraging for me. I wonder if you change the rating if that would help you get exposure. Someone else said the other day that their blog wasn't listed as active and the answer was the blog's rating.

My first post at Wealthy Affiliate!

It seems I am experiencing lots of technical issues with Wealthy Affiliate. It’s one thing after another. I’m always asking questions. It’s cumbersome. ugh. But I am learning. lol. Right now I’m trying to do my first feedback comment. Unfortunately, something with the tool that searches for sites to provide feedback for is not working. I put my daily quota of six hours in I think. lol.
So I found some very lucrative art affiliate programs on one site. The top listed one has a 20% commission ratio! Oh, and I made my first content post! I sent a text to my bro asking for a comment. I’m satisfied with my post. Now I just need some feedback. That will happen when I give feedback for two other sites. For every two comments I get to request a review for my own site. I think that is a good system. It looks like the average word minimum is 1k per post. And the feedback must be truly constructive. You just can’t say why you like it.
