PROMPT: September 18th - If you had to switch places with one other person, who would it be and why? What in particular would you do? Switching Places If I switched places with someone else, If I were to switch places with someone, who would it be? I'm sure I wouldn't want to switch places with someone who is alive at this point in time. There are numerous events in history that I would be interested in witnessing, so switching places with one of the witnesses to one of those events. The three main historic events I would like to witness are (1) the Crucifixion of Christ, (2) the Martyrdom of the Bab July 9, 1850, and (3) the Declaration of Baha'u'llah, April 21-May 2, 1863. Why? Because I believe that these are critical junctures in human history that historians tend to ignore or don't know about. |
