My daughters got together and digitalized memorable photos on a digital photo display, and gave it to me on Mother's Day a few years ago. I love it so much, watching them grow up before my eyes on the display.

Hopefully you will get help with your beloved memories being digitalized.

So sorry about some family members having drug and alcohol problems. It seems there is a growing problem in the past couple decades of families going through that. You are there to listen. And that's what counts.

Memories of when family was altogether are beautiful. These days many families live in different states from their children and don't get to see them as often. Four out of five of my children live in other states. We are still a close family and group text to keep up to date with what's going on. I know, not the same as being together at the dinner table.

I do miss that!

I wasn't a Beatles fan, but I was a Rolling Stones fan. I know shame on me. The adult me appreciates the Beatles songs more now. I loved the song John Lennon sung, Imagine. It's still one of my favorites.

Looks like I'm younger than both of you ladies because in 1965 I was in 4th grade.

Funny, how our lives correspond in this world! I wasn't so much into the Beatles, at first, but Paul is probably my favorite Beatle, and I married in January 1966. Small world!

Life giving rain

Use these words in your entry: winter, world, clouds, forgiveness, agreement, and time.

Today is the start of winter here in this part of the world: the Southern Hemisphere. Suddenly it seems we’re in a different world. The long summer days of heat and flies have disappeared to be replaced by cloudy days and rain. The rain is wonderful though, there is forgiveness for the drought and loss of stock and crop. It’s as if we’ve made an agreement with the weather gods and we’re receiving the life giving rain in exchange for… who knows? The rain clouds release their life giving liquid and for the time being everything is good.
