Sounds like he was a force to be reckoned with. I respect the choice he made at the end of his life, I believe we should all have that option. Death with Dignity.
I think everyone liked Queen Elizabeth. I liked her coolness, her competent aura, and that stiff upper lip when things went haywire. She was a real Lady on the World-Scale.
I'm pretty sure we've all worried about things at one time or another. At some point in my life, I stopped the constant worrying, but I'm not sure when. I still worry at times, but it's not that constant worrying. Recently my daughter tried to drive to North Carolina in her car. After 1 day her car decided it didn't want to go any further. I worried then of course. We also knew what needed to be done, and did it. Anyone who says they don't worry is lying. Both to you, and themselves. At least they are not constantly worrying, at least I hope they aren't. I love the quote that is attributed to John Lennon, that was used in the movie 'The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel'. "Everything will be alright in the end. If it's not alright, it is not yet the end" I think of that quote when I'm a little stressed and need relief. It helps!
So very true, Sue. I've looked back on all the things that I used to stress about and think you put yourself through hell for what girl, in the bigger picture it didn't matter.
Kåre เลียม Enga Kare, I’m thinking English might be easier than Thai! How I wish I had another language. I’m sure it would help to understand the complexities of all languages.

Kåre เลียม Enga Hi, Kare, I’m pleased you’re learning to let go a little. I like that you sense a thaw is coming, that means change is coming too. You sound happier.
Spelling can help with homophones when reading: write / rite/ right. In Thai borrowed words tend to follow the original language with a special symbol over a silent letter ศักดิ์สิทธิ์ 'sacred' [sak(di)sith(thi)] (the 'ignore this' symbol over the di and final thi) or retain the letter even though the sound isn't the same. Final 's' is pronounced the same as final 'd' 't' or 'th' but the original letter is maintained, like in the name borrowed name Francis ฟรานซิส.
Prompt: Perspective
"The difference between a mountain and a molehill is your perspective."
Al Neuharth
How has your perspective on life changed as you’ve grown older?
How age changes one’s perspective! I believe age certainly helps to see things how things, such as problems, really are. Nothing is worth worrying about so much you make yourself ill. I have always been a worrier. Even when there was nothing to worry about I’d worry that something bad would happen soon when I was young.
Nowadays I listen to my families worries and concerns and can see them for what they really are— usually minor inconveniences or when faced up to easily fixed.
Problems are there to be solved. Worry just gets in the way of making wise choices.
Now I’m the age I am, I realise nothing is worth losing sleep over. I think when you’re young life is so serious. But of course we now know life really is too short to spend it stressing over problems because in the end nothing really matters that much.
