*Turtle2*___Today's 5K contributed to saving the Sea Turtles, so my blog theme for today is dedicated to them___*Turtle2*

The funny thing about running is that it's one of the greatest ways to do cardio and exercise your heart. Yet, I go to the gym and most people are most focused on lifting weights or using the workout machines, and if you mention running to most of the people who go there, they recoil in terror as if they would rather get slapped with a piece of bologna. It's probably one of the cheapest exercises you can do (besides push-ups and sit-ups, sans the shoes you need) and yet no one wants to do it. What's even funnier is that some people claim to be runners but then when you ask them to run with you, they get scared and run away instead lol. Oy. I guess that's probably the best thing about running. It doesn't matter if I have to do it alone, because even if someone was with me it would still feel the same considering I like to zone out with the headphones to keep me in the zone. It is what it is!

My compliments to the condiments, and for the greatness ketchup brings to the table, for the bitterness enjoyed in the mustard, and the cholesterol left by the mayonnaise! May you bless every hot dog and hamburger in the world!! My sister always calls ketchup the "magic sauce" and maybe it is. Frankly, though, my magic sauce is ranch dressing!

All too many times has this happened. I let people into my life, and sooner or later they end up taking advantage. As soon as I let my guard down, they sense that I feel safe and comfortable. Then all of a sudden lady drama has to show up and make the whole party about her. It never seems to fail, and it also makes it very hard to make friends. I have so many trust issues it's hard to believe I even have a husband. Truth be told, I don't even trust him, sometimes.
