Since my old blog "Everyday Canvas " became overfilled, here's a new one. This new blog item will continue answering prompts, the same as the old one.

I agree that looking back isn't a negative; only by looking back can we trace and learn from our successes and, yes, our failures. Both have something to teach us and ignoring those valuable lessons is perilous.

Dinner with Maggie sounds perfect to me but then I have my moments of being a hopeless romantic. Very nice story, Joy,

Lyv's dance compettion was today and one of her performances was invited back to preform in the closing showcase. The musical theater routine was done to Haus of Holbein from the Musical Six. The girls rocked their dance.

Don't forget the clocks go ahead tonight.

Kiya, thanks.
With ai, I take what I am able to use, and leave the rest alone. It's going to change again, anyway.
If they leave bedside nursing to ai, they better do away with old folks like me ASAP. :D

So very true, Joy.
I'm just worried about how AI is taking over and how one is to adapt really.
I guess I'm lucky (?) to be in a job that might not be requiring AI to completely take over - well until they develop robots that can step in to do bedside nursing - but who knows how things will change anyway?
Being in the medical field itself is a learning process every single day - new diseases and medications are rolled out so much now, we have to try to keep up with all of that.

If the message in this saying means to advise patience over impulsive actions and careless judgment, then it has some value. After all, the question is, am I solving a real problem, or am I changing things to feel in control?

On the other hand, wisdom is not in resisting change either. Wisdom is knowing when change is really necessary.

I suspect some things appear okay and unbroken at first sight; however, they may be hiding cracks inside them. Blindly following the “don’t fix it” idea can prevent improvement as well as innovation. Some things have been successful through the test of time. With those, I would be less willing to intervene.

Yet, I truly think, if something isn't working, it should be looked at carefully. Maybe because, I am not too patient with things that don't work well. Maybe it is my downfall in a way, but I'd rather take action than sit and do nothing about something that isn't up to par. After all, at this time in my life, I drive a car and do not ride in a horse and buggy type of a carriage.
