Are we talking, like, a Christmas pudding, or something more like this:


YUM!*Hungry* But Christmas pudding... bƤh!*Sick*

But I fear it's just the translation of a German saying into English. Meaning to say: "hard to nail down".

In my language we say: Da ist es ja leichter einen Pudding an die Wand zu nageln. (It's easier to nail a pudding to the wall ā€“ than do this.)
