Chapter #7

There's No Such Thing as Too Much Cake!

    by: King of Failures
A Few Hours Later...

Greg, Junior, and Lucy were all arriving home from work/school. The door was opened and the trio were greeted with a irresistible smell, a warm atmosphere, and a young woman finishing up five beautiful cakes. She had a big smile while baking, and an even bigger one when she saw the father and his children. "Why hello there! I'm Ally, and your meal is almost ready!"

The family looked confused, wondering why this "Ally" was in there house baking cakes. Greg finally broke the silence, "Um... Ally, if I may ask, why are you here, baking cakes?" Ally gave a surprised look and replied, "Oh, of course! Silly me. Someone in your family entered a give away online that my employer held to have a personal chief cook for you! And you just happen to win!"

Greg couldn't remember entering any sort of contest, so he asked the kids. "Nope, it's nothing something I would do." Lucy replied. All eyes fell on Junior, who simply said, "While surfing online, I occasionally enter this sort of things, so I guess I won." Although not the explanation Greg was looking for, it did make the most sense. "Wait, where's Mom?" Lucy asked. "Oh, I asked Susy to go out for frosting, we were running low on it." "Susy?" Greg wondered. "I give my clients fun nicknames like that." Ally replied sheepishly.

As if on cue, Susan and Mary opened the door holding bags with frosting, among other groceries. "Ally, I hav- Greg! Kids! You're home, I'm guessing you've been introduced to Ally, she's making cakes." Susan said. After everyone got settled, Ally got back to finishing the cakes, and it was only now that family had realized how big these cakes were, and there was one for each member of the family. "Ally, are you sure that isn't too much cake?" Greg asked. "Oh my! You're right, I'm sorry, I have a tendency of baking too much by accident. I just get too much into it, yeah know. The worst part the recipe I use is only at it's best while fresh, and after that, they spoil easily..."

Greg felt bad for the woman, she was just being passionate for what she loved. "You know what, I think we can have cake for dinner tonight!" The kids became excited by this, minus Lucy, who replied, "But, that will be awful on calorie count!" "Don't worry Lucy! It's not every day!" Said Greg, which calmed, but not completely got rid of, Lucy's worry. The Murphy Family made small talk with Ally, asking about how she be paid (her employer would handle that), who would paid for food (it was a half and half situation, some covered by the employer and some by the Murphy's), and where she would be staying (any spare room that the Murphy's had). The last question was the one that gave the most surprising answer.

"How long will we have you cooking for us?" Junior asked. "For Life." Ally quickly said, getting everyone's attention. She then added that if she wants to stop cooking for the family, or if they weren't enjoying her services, her employers would send a replacement at anytime. Around this time, the cakes were finished, and everyone sat at the table, ready to eat. "Aren't you joining us, Ally?" Susan asked. "No, Susy, it's part of my contract that I have to eat during my own time." Ally said.

The family began their chow down on the cakes, and they loved it. The cakes were absolutely amazing, and no one could deny it, not even Lucy! Greg gorged himself on the baked good, feeling it fill his already fat stomach. Susan thought about how this would all go to her thighs for a second, only for the thought to be replaced by how she wanted this cake in her right now! Junior sat back because of how stuff he was starting to feel. Mary was grabbing the cake by the hand-full and stuffing down. Lucy was weary on taking a bite, but all control she had had vanished as quickly as her cake after that first fork-full. By the end, everyone clutched their bellies, all stuffed to the breaking point. Ally simply asked, "Did you like it?" Everyone groaned in agreement, "We LOVED it."

Not even a minute later, everyone decided to try to sleep off the meal. While the family got their nightly traditions done, Susan took Ally to the guest room, that was now her's to use at anytime. After some goodnights, the everyone sleeped as peacefully as possible, letting the food digest and calories turn into fat. In the morning, Susan woke up to see:
