Beacon, a place of hopes and dreams. You barely managed to get in and were working hard to be the best hunter you could be but there was one thing that was sorely missing.
Your semblance.
People around you started getting powerful abilities, one girl turned into roses- someone even managed to control electricity to a certain degree. You tried to ignore it, but as time went on you slowly got more and more frustrated that your semblance wasn't showing.
"Maybe it'll never happen..." You sighed, knowing some people never get them. However... one day you managed to overhear your classmates talking about some form of dust that activated their semblances. Without thinking, you asked about it and managed to buy a vial.
Hidding behind a bush, you waited until you were alone before bringing out the vial of dust. A girl called Yang and Ruby wandered past with laundry, making you a little relieved... you didn't want anyone to see you taking it and would rather not make a scene but if things got too bad someone would be close enough to help.
It took you a moment of deep breathing as you gazed at the vial- slowly uncorking it. The guys that sold it to you were a little crass but they did mention that it could make a semblance unstable.
But- in desperation- you inhaled the powder.
It was instant, your arms suddenly shifted black and you started to choke.
"Shit, shit- this was dumb-" You yelled, jumping up from behind the bushes and rushing to get help. Your legs felt like jelly- folding over almost as soon as you got onto the path. "Help-!" You let a weak yell out- finally hitting the floor unmoving.
You lay still for several minutes, unsure what was happening. Eventually, you heard some voices and footsteps.
THUD THUD THUD
"Huh? Hey Yang, were these here before?" Ruby asked, now with an empty basket as you tried to move.
"Shit, must of fallen out while we were walking down..." Yang frowned, her boots coming into view.
"Eh, it can go in the next wash" The chipper girl bent down, suddenly picking you up and dropping you into her washing basket. "I guess we know why there's so many odd socks in our draws!" She giggled.
A... sock?
You lay down, feeling small as the girls carried you away. Their laughter and joking up above falling on deaf ears as you were coming to terms with your situation. Your cool power... was turning into a sock?
It wasn't until they put you down in their room, dumping a few missed clothes from the floor onto you and leaving the room that you felt your body shift back.
Your full sized body falling out of the basket. You're totally naked, confused and feeling... tingly.
Unsure what's going on, you try to find something to cover yourself up with. The sound of footsteps echoed in your ear.
"Crap, I don't want to be labelled as a pervert-! Shit, how did I turn into something to beg-"
Unable to control yourself, you feel yourself transform again. A little bit of pain flooded into you as you felt yourself fall with a small yelp. You turned into...
