"Is it alright if I go ahead and use it first?" Tifa asked Aerith. "I really want to get some clothes on, and if Cloud shows up I'll teach him a thing or two about not messing with us!"
Aerith hesitated for a moment, unsure whether or not she could trust her busty friend. They were love rivals after all, fighting for the same guy that had left them stuck in tiny form on the table. Then again, Tifa had apologized for her behavior at the lake and both had made peace with each other.
"No I don't mind." Aerith said, choosing to put trust in Tifa. "You better hurry and use it before Cloud comes back!"
Tifa nodded as a sign of gratitude. She turned her back on Aerith and embraced the huge Transform Materia, almost like she was trying to hug it.
"Okay, here goes. You better step back Aerith! I don't want to crush you, you know..."
The materia started to swirl with energies as the tiny martial artist activated its powers. She closed her eyes when it began emitting a light almost as bright as the sun. Tifa once again felt a familiar tingling sensation rushing through her body, from her feet all the way up to her finger tips. She gasped as transformation began and within seconds it was all over.
"I... I did it!" Tifa said, feeling dizzy and somewhat weak in her legs. She almost lost her balance and quickly sat down on her butt in order to rest for a moment. At the same time, she tried to find Aerith.
"Aerith? Are you down there? I hope I didn't land on you?"
"O...oh my... No, I'm up here..." a powerful voice said in response. Strangely enough it was coming from above.
Tifa turned her head to the skies. Behind her stood a towering figure. A giantess that was none other than Aerith. Somehow the materia had shrunk Tifa even more, instead of making her grow big.
Aerith, overly protective by nature, got down on her knees and carefully grabbed Tifa by the waist. She then moved her to the palm of her right hand. The brown-haired flower-girl was more like a flower-goddess now.
"I'm so sorry Tifa. I don't know what happened, but it seems that something went terribly wrong. I think the materia broke somehow!" Aerith said with a worried voice, not knowing what this would lead to.
Tifa felt embarrassed. For a girl relying so much on strength and brute force, being only a few millimeters tall was a curse.
"D-Darn it! I don't want to be like this! Oh well, I guess it's up to you now Aerith. There's still one Transform Materia le... what?"
Tifa was suddenly interrupted when she and Aerith felt small tremors through the table. Cloud was most likely on his way back.
