On the way back over to your house you think some more about what you saw at Swensons. You have a hard time blaming Carson for what he did—he saw his chance and he took it. But it still bothers you. First, he borrowed your body while basically lying about why he wanted it. Also, it puts you in an awkward position: how are you going to tell Kelly that you're not actually interested in her, even though "you" went on an after school date with her and kissed her?
By the time you get home you're pissed all over again at Carson. He wants to talk, but you just make the swap and then push him out the door without giving him a chance to say anything.
You spend the night brooding. Part of you keeps thinking about the problem Carson is causing you, and how you might get out of it. That part of your mind keeps turning back toward Jenny: maybe there's a way you could take care of Kelly that will also get you in good with Jenny.
But another part of you has a sneaking admiration for what Carson did. Sure, he took advantage of you to get close to a girl he liked; so why couldn't you do the same? Of course, Jenny is the girl you really like, but that doesn't mean you can't play the field a little: swapping with some of the popular, attractive guys at school and getting it on with some of the hot girls.
You have unsettling dreams all night, but in the shower the next morning you have a sudden brainstorm. You could tell Jenny what Carson has done, and finally make a clean breast of your feelings for her. She might then agree to help you out in a way that would solve your problem without hurting Kelly too much: First, you'd swap Jenny and Kelly; Kelly would undoubtedly try winning you for herself in her new body. After making it "official" with "Jenny," you could then swap Kelly and Jenny back. You'd be free of Kelly, and Kelly would think she had no one to blame but herself for bringing you and Jenny together.
You see Jenny crossing the school parking lot as you pull in; and when you step out of your car you see that the car next to you has its windows rolled down. The car belongs to Troy McLaglan, one of the singers in the glee club, who is dating Tricia Engstrom, a cute brunette—and you see that Troy has left his jacket in the passenger side seat.
