Naminé was so floored by what she just heard that she almost fell backwards into her seat. Her surprise was two-fold, one being the idea of these replicas being for her, Roxas, and Xion.

The other: how in the worlds did he remember Xion at all?

"How did you....?" Naminé started. However, Vexen seemed to have caught on to her latter thoughts.

"How do I remember Xion?" Vexen stated simply as opposed to asking. "I suppose you could consider it an incredible loophole. I only know Xion through the memories of the original Vexen. Furthermore, the knowledge of creating her wasn't lost, allowing me to retain memories of her."

The fact that he spoke so simply about it made it seem like not a bid deal, when it was anything but. For someone other than Naminé to retain memory of Xion in such a fashion was uncanny, and Naminé wasn't too sure how to feel about it. In a way, it was nice that the girl at least had someone to remember her....though this was not really the guy in mind.

Well, Naminé still wasn't sure how much of Vexen's story she could buy, but then again, there wasn't much incentive to lie to her at this point. History already showed that it didn't take much to force her into something. He could have easily just taken her if he wanted to, instead of just explaining everything.

"So, say I believe you about all this..." She said as she took a breath. "What do you expect me to to do now?"

"For the time being, the same thing as you've been doing: repairing Sora." Vexen stated. He couldn't help the smarmy grin on his face as Naminé looked a little alarmed. "That shouldn't surprise you. I knew you were here didn't I? Figuring out where you were and what you were up to was a simple task once I started my plans."

Naminé's head was beginning to spin. Just how much did this guy figure out? It was almost terrifying in a way, since if he did know as much as it seemed, and didn't have somewhat noble intentions, he could have leaked her to the rest of the Organization.

"Fine, and what else?" She asked, knowing there was more.

"To put it simply, as you're working on Sora, connect Roxas and Xion to these replicas. That shouldn't be a problem for you as Xion has already returned to Sora and his connection with Roxas should allow you to connect them as well. I am aware that you have Roxas in your possession as well at the moment." Vexen explained. "In any case, by doing that, their memories should end up getting siphoned from Sora into the replicas, without any harm to Sora himself."

"But how would they actually return?" asked Namine, perplexed.

"That I'm a little less clear on, but I hypothesize that a strong emotional connection should be able to release them. What you're doing would essentially be leaving a door open for them to leave Sora and into the replicas." said Vexen.

Naminé thought on it for a second. It made sense, and doing that was well within her power. However....

"But what would bring Xion back? Her case isn't the same as Roxas's." She said.

"True, but Roxas likely retains at least some level of memories of her, even if he is unaware." said Vexen. "Sora really doesn't have to do a thing. Roxas would likely bring Xion along with him. Don't you believe so?"

Honestly, it was quite plausible. Since Naminé had full access to Xion's memories that were now inside Sora, she could see everything Xion valued from beginning to end. There was no doubt that her bond with Roxas was strong, and with that red-head Axel as well. Course, Naminé did wonder if them remembering their ultimate farewell would have lasting effects on them.

"I believe you would be right," Naminé said finally. "And if I'm doing that, what will you be doing?"

"I'll prepare your replica." said Vexen, and just hearing the idea of being in a replica made Naminé flinch a little. "Once the replicas are done and Roxas is ready to return, we'll have you go to Kairi on Destiny Islands to reunite with her."

"I'm not sure that will go so well." Naminé said with a sigh. "Riku sometimes told me of how his own memories of Sora got worse as the year went on. Chances are it's probably just as bad for Kairi. She might not remember Sora at all for all I know."

"I would presume that won't be much of a problem once Sora is returned to normal." Vexen countered. "Even I can't say how long it would take for those closest to him will remember everything, but I doubt it would be long. Chances are, you shouldn't have any problems returning to Kairi. Once that's done, preparations can be made to bring you back."

This all sounded so convoluted. So much stuff going on to try and bring the three of them back. Course, it wasn't like Naminé didn't like the idea. The thought of actually being able to help more delighted her honestly. A way to make up for what happened in the past year.

So, there really wasn't much of a decision to make here.

"Alright fine." She said, a little more resolute now. "Let's get started then."

"Marvelous." Vexen said with a grin.
