After the photoshoot was over a traumatised Jamie climbed back into her convertible, the one that as James she'd considered a real pussy magnet. Putting as much distance as possible between herself and the last job she drove. Just drove, no destination in mind just ... away...
The radio blared out fifties music, and even the DJ was trying for the same vibe.
It was this that inspired Kelly, that told her exactly where.... and when to dump her. The thought of Jamie né James struggling with the vintage and very uncomfortable corsets and attitudes she was whistling to herself as she fine-tuned the idea.
Jamie's hands shook on the steering wheel, and the car jerked before she fought it under control. She found herself dressed in a deep red letterman jacket, and a pair of ripped jeans. Any hope of regaining that haunted sense that she was really a man dashed as she felt her bust shift as the car took a corner.
She didn't see beyond her car, as the light traffic shifted. Jamie's car just the same as the other road users. Still shaken, she knew she needed to settle her nerves. Spotting a classic cinema she pulled into the car park, and dashed for the safety and comfort of the dark showing room. Somewhere she could escape this beating Sun. The idea that perhaps these flashes of insanity were heatstroke, or something similar. Briefly she grasped her own breasts. They girls rising in the underwear, their comforting warmth telling her on every level of their reality.
A whoop of approval erupted from some nearby college kids that she hadn't noticed. Blushing beetroot red, she fled for the comfort of the air conditioned cinema and a break from the baking heat. Buying a ticket at random, she picked up some popcorn and a large Coke. In case, it was hunger that was driving these wild thoughts. Shaking her head, at the idea of her being a man. She headed into the screening room.
Sure, it might be nice to get a break from the sore shoulders, and back, or the open ogling stares. But... well, uncomfortable as it was, she also felt the power, and it was rather seductive.
An uncertain smile played over her face, as she tried to balance these considerations.
As the lights dimmed, Jamie was pleasantly surprised to see she'd picked 'Rebel Without A Cause'. The general buzz from the rest of the audience lowering as it started. She concentrated on rehydrating, and snacking, to maybe solve her problems. She was blind to the fact that the other viewers were dressed in Fifties clothes. If it anyone caught her attention, they were dismissed as dressing to fit in with the film.
