You open the book to the Step Up chapter and look at the weird letters and symbols on the page and feel like you can understand it somehow. The book gives off very strange energy to it. Feels forbidden yet calls to you.
"So can you read it?" Jessica asks walking back over to you.
"I think so," you nod barely glancing up.
"You can understand it?" Jessica wonders.
"I think so.." you answer unsure.
"Ok.. what does that say?" She asks while pointing at a bold paragraph.
You look at the paragraph and start to say the gibberish words like they were your native tongue and you feel a surge of energy as a small orb of yellow light rise out of the page and slowly grow bigger. Jessica makes a quite gasp and takes a few steps back. You want to stop saying the words on the page but you can't. As you speak the words it seems like the world around you is getting dimmer.
You finish the paragraph and the orb of light flashes and disperses and the world returns to it's regular brightness.
Jessica suddenly keels over as if she just got an intense stomach pain and moans.
"Are you alright?" you ask concerned.
"I think so," she answers straightening up but keeps her hands on her stomach," Feels like some gas."
You look at her stomach to see that it looks like it's slightly inflating and making her shirt tighter. After a few seconds you get a glimpse of her soft stomach as it peeks out of her tight shirt and realize she's piling on weight. She must weigh more than you after just one minute of this growth.
Jessica moans softly as she adjusts her stance and you see that it's not just her belly growing bigger, but the rest of her as well. Her breasts are swelling bigger and bigger. She's growing some thick love handles and a double chin. Her thighs are growing thicker than you waist and soon her clothes begins to rip at the seams.
You also swear she's growing taller, or it could be her feet are growing bigger and causing her to appear taller. More and more of her clothes rip and tear as they fail to contain Jessica's growing body and soon she's easily twice the woman you met earlier this after noon. Her face now melds into her upper body as her neck has been covered by her thick double chin. Her belly hangs over her waist line and down over her thighs, her breasts are now the biggest breasts you have ever seen and may take two hands to even lift. She must be three times wider than you and you swear she's now taller than you. All of her clothes are now rags except for her bra and underwear which somehow grew to fit her massive new size. If you had to guess she's well over 400 pounds, maybe closer to 500 pounds..?
"You folks alright?" comes the voice of the book shop owner coming into view down the narrow book shelf corridor. You can see he grew bigger and fatter too, now sporting a great big beer gut that makes him look 8 months pregnant with triplets!
"Harold!" comes a woman's voice from the backroom.
Harold gets a nervous look and waddles towards the backroom.
You look back at Jessica to see she looks..
