"Hahhh~..." What was that?! A sound just came from behind that tree over there! Could've been the wind, but... it also could've been another person, maybe they can help you! ...Or it could be a vicious predator, just waiting for a tiny bug boy to carelessly come into their clutches.
As much as the rational part of your mind screams for you to run the other way, your curiosity gets the better of you. Dashing past rows of green stalks three times your size, you investigate the noise. Slowing to a sneaky step, you peer around the tree...
.
..
...
And nothing's there.
Nothing except some kind of yellow hill, thorns poke out on either side of the mass of land, just below the point at which the hill's color switches from yellow to chocolatey-brown. Weird... There's also a leaf attached to the base, resting on the ground right in front of you. Maybe this is... some kinda upside down plant? Plants aren't going to help you, it's not like they're sentient or anything...
Disappointed, you walk toward the leafy hill. You're already here, might as well check out this plant.
The scent of fresh grass fills your nose as you climb onto the yellow ground. It's softer than you'd have thought, your hands and feet sink into the plush surface, slowing your progress.
You're well above the greener grass by this point, now noticing that the surface you cling to seems to be rounded. The yellow surface becomes pink as it leads to a wrinkled circular indent, and at the center is a dark hole, slowly expanding and contacting.
You've never seen a plant like this before... Quickly climbing up to a mostly level surface, you walk along the slanted edge, holding the ground for support as you keep your eyes on the hole in the cliff.
You don't know why you're so intrigued by this, there's more to investigate further up, but... Why would a plant have a hole that move this much? It can't be for bugs, with how much its moving... The faint smell of fertilizer wafts up towards you as you look down upon the star-shaped opening, unaware that you are currently staring at the anus of a Leafeon.
