Chapter #6

Juni's Backstory

    by: Kilbil Author IconMail Icon
Her first instinct had been to try picking up Los Angelas with her fingernail so she could get a closer look at her new school, but she very quickly decided against this. It would not make a very good first impression upon her classmates or the school staff to be lifted miles up into the air, putting aside how they would probably be liquefied by the speed of ascent alone. Besides, she was admittedly rather curious on what had been meant when it was said that "everything would be taken care of."

In general, her communication with the world at large had been rather sparse and utilitarian in nature. Understandable, given her unique circumstances, but it was still rather inconvenient that the most she had to rely on a day-to-day basis was some stray dots of light from passing ships and planes at night that she had to squint down at and interpret to the best of her ability. It was fortunate that she had enough of a working knowledge of morse code that she'd been able to get by, but before then, relations had been... rough, to say the least.

It was her 16th birthday when it had all happened. Before then, she'd been a more or less normal girl, living her life the same as anyone else would. Sure, her height had been a bit odd even back then - it wasn't every day that you saw someone who towered over all at 50 feet - but at least she had been able to see her classmates, and shelter had been far easier to come by. She still had some lingering nostalgia for the old airplane hangar that she once called home. Did it still have the little flowers that she cut up from tarp when she was little?

It had all been so abrupt, too. One moment, she was walking home, placing her feet across the same narrow stripes of road that she always did, and the next she was scrambling to make it out of her hometown as she quickly grew too big to cross most highways safely. As she made it out of city limits, she quickly ascended past the clouds, her surroundings becoming flatter with every passing moment. When it was all over, she could see clouds forming right between her toes, and she was surrounded by a muted dark-green carpet with patches of grey all over, now marred by brown skid marks where her legs had gone through.

In that moment, it all had all been a little too overwhelming for her to process, and she had passed out. It was by a stroke of pure dumb luck that her hometown had ended up right in the middle of her breasts when she landed, cutting off any access they had to the outside world but sparing everyone's lives.

In the end, it seemed it was her hometown's fate to be smothered between her breasts. What a way to be stuck between heaven and hell.

That was all in the past, though. She now had her own private strip of land around her size in breadth, one that she may or may not have had a hand in creating through the selective application of force on a fault line or two. She had her bikini, which didn't leave much to the imagination, but still got the job done. She had everything that she needed, expect for one thing.

That was why she was here now, trying her best to keep her high school within her sights. She may not have quite been able to wade around the ocean while stray cruise liners sailed between her legs like she had always fantasized about - unfortunately, cruise liners were a touch too small for the fantasy to truly take effect - but she could still attend high school. Nothing was ever going to stop her from going; it was simply non-negotiable, as inevitable and certain as the sun trajectory through the sky. Now, all she had to do was wait and see, as before her appeared:
