Professor McGonagall looked around the assembled witches before deciding to split them initially into their houses, to inspire some friendly rivalry between the house. The offer of twenty house points for the successful pair to swap bodies got the four ravenclaws huddling together, and working on strategies. There was sour look from the two hufflepuffs, before they looked happy just to take part.
The witches in Harry's group were more focused on being the one to cast the enchantment successfully, and dominate her opposite number. There was a real air of importance and suspicion between them. Eyes darting looking for the easiest to force into a swap. Harry hid a smile, they didn't know anything and already the lines were being drawn. The smile vanished instantly, as she heard some snide comments about Ginny Weasley that was quickly taken as indisputable fact. It was hard to hide her outrage, even her sullen silence was taken as too soft.
"I just don't want to think about... Her!" she had to put real spite into her voice to make it sound convincing.
Harry felt even more isolated, and aware how different the atmosphere was in Gryffindor. Though, they shared a determination that Gryffindor didn't get those twenty points.
Trying not to look too intently, Harry's gaze drifted to Ginny. The smile on her face made her heart soar, it was just so open and friendly. The three other Gryffindors looked just as determined that Slytherin didn't get those damned points.
Harry winced internally on feeling that bitter rivalry. Harry also winced as he saw the fear in the other Slytherins who glanced furtively in her direction.

When Professor McGonagall cleared her throat the classroom fell silently. She laid out the warnings and limits to the spell. It turned out the caster, had to be the one to reverse the swap. Next, she moved on to the law regarding the spell.
Before finally, showing the wand moves and enunciating the spell in her Scottish brogue.

Harry found herself paired up with Millicent Bullstrode. Tracy Davis with Flora Carrow the look of menace that Flora gave Tracy made Harry shudder to imagine being on the receiving end.
"Now, watch your aim... and Begin!" Professor McGonagall kept out of the firing line as the students took turns at attempt the spell.
