By the time everyone made it out of LeBlanc, Ann was eight feet tall and still growing. Everyone wasn't sure where to go or what to do, including Ann. Ann's growth was slow and gradual. Ann finally decided it was best to leave Tokyo altogether but it wouldn't be fast.
Ann was twenty feet tall by the time she had made it down the alley near Sojiro's house. There were few people in the alley. The people that saw the gigantic Ann naturally screamed and ran off, while other people just stood there in awe.
"This is no good" said Ann as her hips ran across buildings on each side as she continued to grow. "I guess there's one option I have left"
"What's that?" asked Makoto.
"This" replied Ann, bending her legs and suddenly jumping off into the air..and kept on going up into the air.
"She can fly?!" asked Ryuji.
"Weren't you listening before?" asked Futaba. "she's a god now: she can do whatever she wants! She's quite literally a deus ex machina!"
"A deus ex now?" asked Ryuji looking sheepish.
Makoto sighed heavily.

Ann was flying while she was still growing. Ann had pointed herself in a horizontal position so as to not cause any damage to the city. She was flying perhaps 2000 feet above the city. Ann had no clue as to where to go to avoid damaging the city. She simply was flying in the direction of Mt. Fuji thinking that she could land without causing massive damage.
Ann was a little over 9000 feet tall when she had finally exited the city. Ann stopped and landed on the ground, causing the ground to shake violently.
The city of Tokyo looked just like a model city to her now. Ann couldn't spot any individual person from her loftly height. The good news was that she had stopped growing.
Ann's clothes grew with her so that she wasn't a nude giant. Ann had a mind of actually going into the city and explore as her gigantic size.
When Ann's phone buzzed, she had to dig in her pockets to find it. Ann then made the discovery that the phone hadn't grown along with her. The phone was ridiculously small in her hand. A moment later, the phone was just the right size for her.N
Makoto : Ann, are you alright? Where are you?
Ann : Yeah, I'm fine. I made it out of the city. I'm like 10,000 feet tall...more or less
Yusuke : Yeah, we can see you now. We had to go all the way to Tokyo Tower
Ann : Is Futaba alright?
Futaba : Yeah, I'm fine. Mostly.
Kasumi : Could you shrink yourself down yet?
Ann : Some. I'm back at 8000 feet tall
Haru : Well, at least that's progress
Makoto : People here seem to be reacting in intriguing ways here
Futaba : Can't really blame them. It's not everyday you see a 8000 foot tall teenage woman standing at the edge of your city
Ann : Everyone in the city is responding in some way. I can feel worship coming my way....I also sense a lot of fear and apprehension
Ryuji : Dude, you can feel people worship you?
Ann : Yeah I actually can....feels warm and fuzzy....actually it's a difficult to explain what exactly I'm feeling
Ryuji : um....I hate to be that guy...but you aren't planning on going on a rampage are you?
Ann : Of course not! I'm still me! I'm not suddenly a monster
Makoto : how could you possibly ask such a question?!
Futaba : Were you expecting anything less from Ryuji? He does have a knack to be tactless
Yusuke : Especially about women
Ryuji : Shadup!
Haru : And stop staring at her chest!
Ryuji : And just where am I suppose to look at?!
Makoto : Eh, I'm willing to be lenient on Ryuji this time. But get that preverted look off of your face!
Ryuji : Why don't you all pick on Yusuke?! I'm not the only one leering at Ann!
Yusuke : I wasn't leering! I was just imagining painting a picture of such a magnificent view!
Futaba : Suuuure you were, Inari
Yusuke : I meant what I said
Futaba : :c
Yusuke : Don't write in emojis!
Futaba : 😗
Ann : Boys will be boys after all. Always thinking with their penises
Ryuji : Can you blame us?!
Makoto : ugh. Anyway, Ann, could you try harder to shrink yourself?
Ann : I'm doing the best I can here
Ann looked at Tokyo Tower and waved. Ann then closed her eyes and concentrated. For long minutes, Ann kept right on concentrating on shrinking herself down. For long minutes, absolutely nothing happened.
"Come on, come on" said Ann to herself. "shrink, Ann, shrink. You can't spend all of eternity as a giant"
The chat on the phone kept on going without Ann.   indicates the next chapter needs to be written. |
