Chapter #21

The girl who killed Archduke Franz Ferdinand

by: Silver Dragon Author IconMail Icon
Fairly Odd Parents is one of the most important cartoons of your childhood, one of the best created by Nickelodeon. However, just like Spongebob and many other cartoons, this one also had its decline.

The old episodes are so good that you remembered all the characters perfectly, even those who appeared in only one episode.

You and your friends, during the lockdown designed to contain the virus, organized remote meetings using google meet to review and discuss the old and timeless episodes. One of these was Hassle in the Castle.

Here, 3 children who Cosmo and Wanda had previously guarded appeared: Pierre, Sammy, and Maryann. Unfortunately, their evil deeds meant Cosmo and Wanda's farewell and their portrait in the Hall of Infamy.

Before Maryann was imprisoned in her portrait, Wanda revealed that the girl had killed Archduke Ferdinand, an event that triggered World War I.

"Okay, guys, time for discussion, and now a question arises spontaneously, how did she kill the Archduke? I thought the rules were clear, you can't kill. Any theories?"

Your friends raise their hands one at a time, each with a different hypothesis.

"She may have used the Magic Muffin, remember that it granted wishes outside the rules?"

"Actually I was thinking about that too. Other ideas?"

"She would have used a Secret Wish, but without directly wishing for her death. She would have wished for something that caused his death."

"What is a Secret Wish?"

"Oh, yeah, you haven’t seen that episode, I suggest you at least watch that."

"Okay, let’s say she made wishes to manipulate events so that this would happen."

"She may have wanted You Doo Dolls of those who participated in the Sarajevo attack to manipulate them like puppets."

"Now that’s a good theory."

"Maryann could have wanted the rifle and then handed it over to the killer, there’s no rule against wishing weapons."

"A plausible theory, but I think the most feasible are the Muffin and the Dolls. Okay guys, see you tomorrow for the episode Remy Rides Again." Your friends make logout. "I don’t know what I would give up to know the truth."

That night you fall asleep, while dreaming you see a fairy, she asks you what you are willing to give to know the truth you are looking for, you answer "Anything." You thought it was a dream like many others and you did not bother to specify. Big mistake. When you woke up you found yourself shrunk in a house with a European style from the twentieth century, then you see her: Maryann.

Now you are scared, you are shrunk, stuck in the past and very close to a crazy and murderous little girl. You wonder how it could get worse than this. In fact one thing could happen: Maryann could find you and torture you.

Strangely you do not see Cosmo and Wanda around, you wonder where they could be.
