“Ugh, my head is killing me…”
You were lying on the floor, having finally woken up after fainting earlier. You weren’t too sure what happened, but the last thing you remember was walking through the wastelands before seeing a bright light. There was also some sort of… creature? A gear perhaps? You weren’t sure, and your mind wasn’t too keen on cooperating right now.
“Guess this is what I get for going out alone. Though I didn't think I’d run into a beast of all things. Ah well, at least I’m alive.”
You stand up and dust yourself off, trying to figure out just where you were. It definitely wasn’t the wasteland anymore, as the temperature was somewhat cool. along with no harsh sun beaming down. Feeling the ground, it’s somewhat smooth but also grainy, almost like a plank of wood. But no plank of wood could be this big! It stretched on for what seemed like miles. Though this was only a guess, as you couldn’t actually see anything around you. Not even any stars or light in the sky. Wherever this was, it was either late on a cloud night, or underground somewhere.
“Well, I guess I might as well try exploring.”
With that, you began your trek into the unknown. Due to the low visibility, you weren’t too sure where you were going, but you could faintly make out giant objects in the distance. Some of which looked rectangular in shape. Maybe this was an underground facility?
After a few minutes of walking on the same wood-like surface, you finally reached one of the towering black shapes.
“Damn, just how big is this place? This thing looks at least 20 feet tall!”
You felt around on the giant solid object, trying to see if there was any kind of door or something to grip onto. Eventually, you managed to find something that felt like… fabric? Whatever it was, it was soft and easy to grip onto. Slowly but surely, you scaled the side of the enormous object until you reached a plateau. You still couldn’t see anything, but you could make out the rough figure of… something… out in front of you. It sprawled out a great distance, with various hills along the way. Unfortunately, it was also quite a ways down, meaning you’d likely have to climb down whatever platform you were standing on.
Little did you know, you had just scaled the side of a gigantic bed frame using a loose towel. Now standing on its backboard, the resident of the bed lay sprawled out down below and in front of you. The owner of said bed wasn’t exactly a quiet sleeper, either.
Suddenly, while you contemplated what to do, the ground beneath your feet began to shake. Additionally, you could hear loud sounds of what seemed like a creature rustling.
“W-Woah!”
With one giant, final shake, you were knocked off the platform, and down toward the abyss below. After a few seconds of falling, you closed your eyes, expecting a hard and painful impact. But, that wasn’t what happened. Instead, you landed in something extremely soft and stringy. Looking around, you were surrounded by a field of red… strings. Whatever this was, it cushioned your fall. The strange environment made it somewhat hard to get through, almost like wading through a giant field of overgrown grass. Despite your struggles, you eventually escaped your red confines.
“Where the hell am I!?”
You were honestly at a loss for where you could be now. It couldn’t be natural with the structures, but what facility has a plain of gigantic red grass in it? With no choice but to continue onwards, you step forward. But the surface you step on is… strange. It’s warm, light in colour, and feels almost fleshy. At this point, you were out of options. You might as well call for help and see if anyone answers.
“Hey, is anyone here!? I’m lost!”
You yell out to the darkness, hoping for a response. Suddenly, the surface below you shakes. The rumbling makes you fall, and you quickly crawl to safety on another part of it. Maybe this was in response to your calling out? Curious, you try once more.
“Say something if you’re here!”
The surface beneath you shakes again, rumbling even harder.
“Mmmgh, what the hell?”
An incredibly loud, drowsy female voice booms out from just below. After all your climbing your eyes have finally adjusted a little more to the darkness, giving you a better view of what exactly you were on. Soon enough, you put two and two together. As if to make things worse, a gigantic eye opens up right above you. You weren’t in some facility.
You were atop a gigantic person! Specifically, her face.
The surface you were holding onto began to incline as she woke up, tilting her head forward. If you acted quickly you could move to her nose to be noticed, but would that really be for the best right now? Who knows how she’d react to a tiny intruder like you? But then again, your alternative was dropping down to who knows where.
