You feel cold, very cold. You reach out to find the covers on your bed and pull them up. But your hand doesn't grab anything, you shuffle your feet and understand from their excessive movements that someone has taken your blankets away.
Annoyed by the ruined sleep you get up to look for an answer. You're standing outside, it looks like some kind of desert with giant rocks. You look up and you don't see a single star that can orient you.
In the distance from the dirt path you notice a jungle, it takes you a while to focus and understand that the jungle is just a meadow and the desert is just a path. Finding yourself shrunken in an unfamiliar environment makes you very uncomfortable, preventing you from thinking clearly.
You see black shadows crawling on the ground, thin as paper, you wonder if they are snakes. No, they have legs! And they don't move to the S. Then these shadows rise from the ground and get bigger. They have a vaguely humanoid body structure. They have a round, spherical head with yellow eyes and two long twisted antennae growing out of their heads. Each of their hands has three clawed fingers, and their feet are large and have no discernible toes. Except for the eyes, the body is completely black.
Now you understand, they are the Shadows, you are in the world of Kingdom Hearts, probably in the Realm of darkness. You panic and run away, despite knowing that those creatures would be faster than you even at full size.
Then you notice that they are not chasing you. A giant girl in the distance is fighting them with a Black Keyblade. She has blue hair and eyes. She is wearing a black and blue top with a high neck, 2 pink ribbons crossing over her chest and black shorts. She also wears a silver medallion of the Land of Departure symbol. She also has wide white sleeves with brown fingerless gloves and a piece of armor on both arms. She also wears black stockings that reach up to her mid-thigh, thus leaving part of her thighs exposed. Finally she wears silver shoes with a toe and a hook on the outside. She is Aqua.
You are so happy to know that there is someone who can help you. Aqua easily wipes out the Heartless, the last one was near you, she hits it from behind with a slash, and it dissolves into a curtain of black smoke that vanishes.
You see Aqua looking around and wondering why that Shadow was distracted. You have little time before she calms her doubts and continues on her path. You could shout her name and be found, or take shelter in her shoe waiting for the right opportunity.
