And the there's the first two games in the series. Legend of Zelda and its sequel, Zelda 2: Link's adventure. Here's a fun fact: Not only does this Link defeat Ganon once and for all in this timeline, but he also gets two Zeldas. There's a manga where they fight over Link, but in a humorous way.
The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds is a distant sequel to A Link to the Past, so I'm going to have it as a separate option from it.
