"Mighy fine thanks!" Partito beamed as the waitress brought him his giant stack of pancakes that was slathered in butter.
The waitress giggles. "Enjoy!" She said in a cheery tone before walking away.
"My the folks here sure know how to make breakfast." Partitio said to himself smiling. He grabbed his fork and knife and began to cut himself a slice of the pancake to eat.
Osvald eyed Partitio curiously. The merchant had insisted they come here to eat breakfast after spending the night here at the inn. Partitio recieved a lot of recommendations from this place and clearly had gone overboard ordering his meal, the "Pancake Heaven" was what they called if he remembered correctly. Osvald had just ordered some toast and coffee for himself.
"You know you're gonna get fat if you eat like that all the time." Osvald said bluntly.
Partitio finished up inhaling his first pancake before he responded. "Ah come on Osvald don't be like that, the folks here put their hwart into making such wonderful Neal's I can't help but show my appreciation for it." Partitio said with a flashy grin before he got back to eating.
Osvald pushed his glasses up the ridge of his nose. "And that requires you to stuff your face?" Osvald comment was more curious than rude. The merchant did say some strange things that he needed clarification on.
"Well duh, how else to show that I enjoy their food than eating a ton of it. Besides we travel enough for me to burn the extra calories." He finished up another pancake before he leaned back in his chair thinking. "Though... from the other resturants I've seen here things aren't looking to good, ans I'm sure they put their heart and soul in their food too...."
Osvald stopped drinking from his coffee and directed his attention to Partitio he knew where this was going. "Partit-"
"I got I'll start investing in the restaurants here to get them back on their feet! But first I have to finish these delicous pancakes!" Partitio says as he goes back to eating his meal.
Osvald sighed. Things never changed. They'd have to fight monsters again, make money and dump it all into whatever person Partitio believed in... again.
