In a very pleasant afternoon a day before Halloween. The young pretty Mary wandered down the street with only one question in mind. "What will I wear this year?"
Halloween was a special event for her friends and herself. Every year they would organize the party at the designated's house. This year, Jenna pulled the short straw. They would make a contest to the one with the most convincing outfit. Mary never won any of them but this year was hers, she had a very strong feeling.
Just around the corner, she stumbled upon a very odd store front. Some ancient Victorian era shop, framed by the deepest of dark woods, withered through the ages with light chipping. A swinging cauldron handing from the shop wall over the street. The entrance, a very slim door sandwiched between the storefront windows bulging slightly outwards.
The top board had "Agatha's magical outfits and sundries.. Estd 1692.
-Huh? I never saw this store before... The street either while I'm at it.
Her curiosity was pulling her to the entrance with excitement. A new clothes shop? In this "Diagon Alley". Very much in theme with the current season.
-Ahem! Mind the step dear.
Mary stumbled on entry as the door hit the bell. The figure of a woman standing before her, hands on her hips. A loose V cut longskirt with lace leaving only a leg perk through whilst a modest corset supported her top in a tight pushup fashion. Long gloved sleeves reaching her shoulders, then curled purple hair topped by a fancy witch hat. She appeared surprised to see the likes of Mary in her establishment.
-Forgive me for asking but, wouldn't you be lost by any chance?
-Lost? I don't think so. I hope I'm not intruding. Are you closed perhaps?
-Dear on the contrary, you wouldn't have found the place if it weren't. Don't you remember how you got here?
-I ehm.. Not quite actually... It's almost as if..
-Iiinteresting.. I'd thought you wouldn't look like my regular customers. How curious how this day had been full of "irregularities"..
-Reg? I'm terribly sorry, if it's a bother I'll leave.
-Leave? Impossible! After all only those who follow their hearts find this shop. It seems yours is eager and your soul heavy with desire. Now feast upon what you see and let me make real your deepest cravings. So? What will it be I wonder?
At this point, Mary's heart skipped a beat as the shopkeeper was so close she could feel the sweat warmth of her breath caressing her neck.
-I.. Ou.. Outfit! I'm in need of an outfit. It's Halloween you see and there's a party and I need one that will totally blow my friend's minds.
-Halloween... Indeed it is something quite festive in your realm. An outfit you say? Is there a specific one in mind?
-Eh.. Well.. Last year I dressed up as a witch with.. Ahem, kinda revealing parts. It was pretty fun but nowhere close to the magical girl one of my friends made from scratch. Hehe, they're pretty good so to win I need something so convincing they would difficultly recognize me.
-Revealing... Recognition... I might have just the thing. You see every outfit here has a special trait attached to it, inspired by powers you can only imagine. They are designed to scratch the deepest of itch fueling your most profound fantasy.
-Wait.. You mean they're not just fabric? Like they have some kind of gadget to make them work? Like a magic trick?
-Aha, trick how cute. I guess you are right though. In a way they do possess magical properties, after all our goal here is to "blow your friend's minds" correct? I'm not one to interfere with fate whom clearly guided you to my humble establishment. The choice is now yours to make.
-All of them are for sale? Gosh, there's a lot to choose from...
