Chapter #7Prom Night Game - 3, safe space by: Morphology Current spot and changes so far:
Lynn (5)- Blonde hair in a bun
Holding the dice in her hand, Jenn felt the need to roll them, the need to win. Taking in a deep breath, she rolled the dice. Time seemed to stop as they all watched the dice bounce and roll on the game board. As they were rolling, one of the dice hit Lynn's game piece, but it just bounced off, almost as if it was being protected from outside interference. When they came to a stop, Jenn could see a 2 and a 1. "I got a 3." She said to herself as she looked at the game boards seeing her game piece moving on its own and stopping on a grey square. "What does grey mean?" She asked the group who all seemed to be as clueless as she is.
Almost as if on queue, the voice announced with its oddly chipper voice. "Congratulations, you found one of the few safe spaces in the game. Since it lacks any color, I find to be such a wet rag. But lucky for you that means you're safe from any change."
Letting out the breath she didn't realize she'd been holding in, Jenn looked to her boyfriend. "Looks like its your turn." She replied with a heavy heart.
"Why did I want to play this game?" Kira loudly shouted looking around to see the odd transparent film covering all the exits. "I want to do my homework now, please?" She pleaded with the game hoping that it will lower the barrier for her.
"Sorry chickadee, but once the game pieces have been set, you must finish the game." The voice told her, still with its chipper tone in place. "Now the dreamboat needs to roll to have his chance at being the prom queen."
As she finished, the dice seemed to levitate and fly into Josh's hand. The dice rested with the numbers 3 and 3 showing. Together, the group watched as his game piece started to slide across the board until it stopped on a blue square. Just like with Lynn, the top blue card flew off of the deck and into Josh's hand. Looking down he felt his heart stop and felt compelled to read it aloud.
Silk or satin are needed to win the game
but what you have underneath just isn't the same
There was an odd stirring in his pants and under his shirt. And just as soon as it started, it stopped. Feeling his his breathing starting to quicken, he felt something wrapped around his chest and going over his shoulders. Opening the collar of his shirt, he was met with a frilly, light blue bra hanging uselessly across his chest. "What happened?" Jenn asked as she leaned in to see what he was looking at. Feeling her cheeks starting to redden, she pulled back and sat back in her spot and placed her hands in on the table.
Without opening his pants, Josh knew that he had a pair of just as frilly panties too. The way it shaped over his ass and caressed his manhood, it felt wrong to him. Looking at the group, he stated. "So we know the pink squares must do with hair or something physical and the blue changes your underwear. I think." Looking at Lynn with her long blonde hair tied expertly up in a bun and now his underwear change, it was the best he could come up with at the moment. "Kira its your turn." He sighed gesturing at the dice.
"But I don't want to play." She sobbed loudly, feeling the weight of the situation. Almost as if feeling her reluctance to playing the game, the dice flew from the board to her hand. Not wanting to hold them in her hand, she threw them down in an effort to reject them. The group watched as the dice started to roll and slide to a stop revealing her roll. "I didn't mean to do it. I didn't want to roll a 10." She continued to loudly say to the group to get her point across. As Kira was looking around, she didn't see the Orange card flying into her hand. Looking down at the card she read it aloud.
Yelling and emotion can hurt the brain.
So etiquette classes you will be trained
As soon as it was read aloud, her demeanor changed instantly. Bringing her hand up to her mouth, she started to blush. "Sorry, everyone." Kira apologized in an oddly calm manner. "It seems that I let my emotions get the better of me."
Sensing the change in demeanor, Lynn tried to see if her daughter was alright. "Kira, sweetie." She started while resting her hand on her daughter's. "Are you alright?"
Turning her head to meet her Mom's, Kira smiled sweetly. "But of course, Mother." She replied in the same clam manner as before. "I just seemed to let my emotions get out of control but I'm fine now." She smiled a smile that didn't seem to reach her eyes. Sensing she may have done something wrong, Kira apologized once again. "Sorry, Mother, but I do believe its your turn." She replied gesturing at the dice.
Josh and Jenn looked at each other with a concerned expression evident on their faces. Leaning in closer, Jenn whispered to her boyfriend. "So it seems the game can mess with your mind as well." Josh nodded, making a note of that for the future.
Without much hesitation, the dice flew back into Lynn's hand. "I guess we must continue." She sighed tossing the dice back onto the board. "I rolled a ____" She said as she started to count ahead to see which colored square she would land on.
